About
Established in 1984, the Foundation supports a wide variety of activities benefiting education, arts and culture, health, human services, community development and civic affairs. Since its inception, the Foundation has distributed more than $1 billion through more than 67,000 grants to nonprofit organizations.
Challenges
Claire Bonti was one of Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan’s main Account Executives who raised her hand about the frustrations in their current systems – simply put, their Blackbaud setup was outdated and the team could already feel that it would not scale with their business. The technology was not optimizing their workflow and it was slowing their entire process down.
Solution
Plative got to work to help Claire and the CFSEM team by immediately implementing NetSuite – this included formulating a package of add-ons and other technologies in order to build a platform that efficiently served their needs.
Here’s their winning tech stack:
– Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack
– Sales & Service Cloud UE
– Experience Cloud
– NetSuite
– DocuSign
– Nintex
– Box
– FormAssembly
Outcomes
The digital transformation has given CFSEM the ability to scale on a connected business platform, allowing the organization to increase its efficacy to their staff, donors, and the communities they serve. By replacing Blackbaud with Salesforce & Netsuite, CFSEM will be able to consolidate all constituent data, unify internal processes, and eliminate all redundant systems and processes. Claire and the team were moving faster and more effectively than ever before.
