Non-Profit Uses Plative to Streamline Their CRM

Overview

Feeding San Diego provides more than 35 million meals every year to children, families, seniors, college students, military families, veterans, people facing homelessness, and other underserved populations. They distribute meals in partnership with 370 local charities, schools, faith communities, meal sites, and food pantries throughout the region.

Challenges

Feeding San Diego using a dated and non-optimal Salesforce configuration. Data was difficult to retrieve, report on and users had a difficult time navigating their CRM, with an ever-increasing number of duplicate records.

Solution

Plative reformed their data model, with a migration to NPSP and also configured Classy to support online donations, iWave to amend donor data and Volunteers Hub to track all volunteer data. Pardot was also implemented to improve their donor outreach.

Outcomes

Feeding San Diego is able to leverage a native Salesforce data, tailored to donor management. Their data was much more organized and duplicate data was not being created anymore.
