Overview

The vision at Northern Illinois Food Bank is for everyone in Northern Illinois to have the food they need to thrive by serving Neighbors in 13 counties, and providing 250k meals a day.

Challenges

Northern Illinois Food Bank was using dated technology and spreadsheets as a fix for a lack of Agency relationship management capabilities. SNAP outreach was struggling to scale with volume needs and they were struggling to develop efficient processes with partners.

Solution

Plative created a self-service portal for agency partners to upload documentation and engage with the Food Bank. The Agency team now has a robust CRM for tracking activities and engagement of their partners. By leveraging Service Cloud, Plative created a point of triage for SNAP team members to assist Neighbors through much more efficient processes.

Outcomes

Northern Illinois Food Bank can now track activity and engagement with all existing and new Agency partners. Data is cleaner, more accessible and actionable. The Food Bank has expanded its reach to exponentially grow the impact they can make with their Neighbors.
