On July 24, Oracle held a webinar called “Demystifying AI Agents: Your Path to Becoming an Agentic Enterprise“. The webinar outlined the future of AI Agents on Oracle platforms and offered a preview of what “AI Everywhere on NetSuite” might look like.

What is Agentic AI?
Agentic AI systems have two layers: Manager Agents and Worker Agents. Manager Agents get tasks from users, figure out the steps needed to succeed, and then delegate those tasks. Worker Agents handle clearly defined tasks and can interact with data sources or tools to get things done.
Tools and Marketplaces for AI Agents
The heart of Oracle’s approach is the AI Agent Studio, a tool that lets you build your own networks of agents. You can define the prompts, data access, and tools for each agent. A key feature is that you can build individual agents using Oracle’s own LLMs or external LLMs through an API. This lets you choose the best model for a specific task.
When AI Agent functionality comes to Fusion, pre-built agents will be available in an Agent Marketplace. You can install and use these agents right away, or you can modify them to fit your specific needs. Modifying agents comes with a small cost, but it gives you the ability to change the prompts, the relationship between agents, and the LLM for each one. Down the road, users will likely be able to add their own agents to the marketplace. These features may even be integrated into the SuiteApp Marketplace when they come to NetSuite.
Since Oracle owns the infrastructure that NetSuite and the agents run on, we can expect that agents will be able to use both internal and external data securely. Internal data is what’s in your NetSuite account, while external data is publicly available. When AI Agents come to NetSuite, the designer will choose which data is relevant and where it should be used in decision-making.
