What do you do at Plative?
I work as a senior consultant in the FINS pod. I plan and run discovery sessions, build out solution designs, and am generally the customer-facing side of our engagement with clients. I also build and present demo and training sessions across the life of the project.
What’s your favorite thing to do where you currently live?
My favorite thing to do in my city is go to Eastern Market. It’s an old trading post that’s now a weekly farmers market. I also love visiting the apple farms in the fall to pick apples and make apple pie!

What would you do if you didn’t choose your career path?
If I weren’t in my current career, I’d love to be a symphony conductor and composer. I’m also really interested in becoming a percussion or composition professor at a university. These may be part of my retirement plan…
What is your most unusual or hidden talent?
I wouldn’t say it’s unusual, but I compose music for percussion and concert bands, mostly focusing on classical pieces rather than pop. I’m looking to move towards orchestral composition, creating large-scale symphonic music. I’ve also worked on film music, marching band shows, concert band arrangements, and percussion solos.
