Fun Facts about Jacob:
- I once owned a small garbage collection company right after university, while also doing a full-time job.
- I married my high school sweetheart, and we’re celebrating our 10th anniversary this year—a love story that started in school and had stood the test of time!
- My go-to pop culture reference—and favorite TV show—is The Office (U.S. version). It’s the only show I consistently watch and quote in almost every client meeting, making it a signature part of my personality!
What do you do at Plative?

What’s your favorite thing to do where you currently live?
My favorite thing to do where I currently live, which is just north of Tel Aviv, is paddle boarding with my wife. We love being by the water, even if we don’t get out as often as we would like! Apart from that, we really enjoy exploring new parks in the area with our kids. There are so many great spots here, and it’s a fun way to spend quality family time.
What is your most unusual or hidden talent?
My most unusual hidden talent is doing simple magic tricks. I used to perform as a kid and taught myself by reading magic books. These days, I occasionally entertain my kids with a few tricks, nothing too fancy, but it’s a fun little skill to have up my sleeve.
If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?
If I could advise my younger self, I’d emphasize building a strong technical foundation early in your career. Technical skills aren’t just about coding or specific tools – they’re a universal language that helps you communicate more effectively across teams.
