Plative Game Changer | Jangveer Singh

Meet #PlativeGameChanger, Jangveer! He is a 3 time national Bhangra competition winner, a quant master, and a digital marketing pro.

Fun Facts about Jangveer:

  • I have a strong knack for numbers — I scored close to the 100th percentile in the quantitative analysis section of one of the toughest exams in my country.
  • I am passionate about dance. I won a national Bhangra competition on TV three years in a row and trained others in the dance form.
  • I led marketing for a company that directly competed with Salesforce, helping build its brand in a highly competitive space.

What do you do at Plative?

I’m a Principal Consultant at Plative. As a Principal Consultant, I lead Salesforce implementation projects for clients in the financial services industry. My role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure that our solutions align with their strategic goals and deliver measurable value. In addition to project leadership, I mentor junior team members to help build their skills and grow their careers. I also serve as a subject matter expert within the financial services space, supporting internal teams with insights and guidance to elevate the quality of our solutions across the board.

What’s your favorite thing to do where you currently live?

I live in a very small city with a population of around 15,000 people, and one of my favorite things about it is the local spring and summer festivals. We have events like the Maple Fest. My friends and I usually attend together, and there’s always something for everyone, like wagon rides, obstacle courses, and fun competitive games we all enjoy. There are even farm animals, which makes it especially exciting for friends who bring their kids. It’s a great way to spend time outdoors and enjoy a strong sense of community.

What is your most unusual or hidden talent?

I think dance is my most unexpected or hidden talent. People often don’t expect it when they meet me. I come across as calm and reserved, so it surprises them when they see me dance. Since I do Bhangra, which is a very high-energy dance form, the contrast really catches people off guard. They’re usually shocked, wondering where all that energy is coming from! So yeah, I’d say that’s definitely my hidden talent.

If you could give one piece of advice to your younger self, what would it be?

If I could give one piece of advice to my younger self, it would be to follow what genuinely excites me rather than focusing on what others are doing. Growing up, I think I would’ve benefited from choosing projects or activities that I found fun and fulfilling, like digital marketing-related projects, and creating content, instead of trying to fit into what seemed popular or expected. Trusting my own interests earlier on would’ve made the journey even more meaningful.
