Fun Facts
- I attended a horse show at a state fairground and ended up riding my horse bareback and racing it against other horse show participants!
- I love boogie boarding and jumping waves. Every summer, I do an annual beach trip with my family and friends.
- One of my favorite cartoon strips is Peanuts and my favorite is Snoopy! I watch all the Snoopy Holiday movies.
- 2021 was a memorable year – my son and daughter both got married and I became a grandmother.
What is your role at Plative?
I’m a Salesforce Project Manager/Consultant. I work with clients and get to do hands-on project work and project management. I find this role interesting because I get to get my hands dirty and see how the work fits into the overall project while managing the project.
What is your favorite thing to do in your city?
I’m currently in Portland, Oregon, and love everything about the city! One of my favorite activities is watching live music and performances. There are annual Jazz and Blues festivals that I have attended. I enjoy different venues from the Schnitzer to Revolution Hall to Edgefield. I’ve seen symphonies, Anthony Bourdain, Jackson Browne, and many others!
What is an unusual or hidden talent of yours?
I enjoy playing the piano, especially during the holidays. I love Christmas carols, so around the holidays I pull out the songbooks and start playing and singing Christmas carols. One of my favorite songs is Joy to the World since it is so uplifting.
If you were not a Salesforce Project Manager, what job would you have?
Volunteering is a passion of mine. I would volunteer full-time at a senior center and lead stretching exercise classes. I would also volunteer at Wheels on Meals, which is an organization that addresses senior hunger and isolation.
